NYC-inspired indulgent bakery Gooey have freshly baked boxes of doughnuts and cookies available on their website. Currently delivering to the Manchester area (but expanding soon), everything you order is made fresh on the day of delivery, ensuring your sweet treats are absolutely perfect when you get them.
Tib Street coffee shop Just Between Friends are open, offering pastries, bread and coffee to take away from their store while social distancing regulations are still in place. Keep an eye on their social media to find out when their vendors deliver fresh treats.
Cafe and dessert bar Northern Eudaimonia are offering takeaway coffee and cakes, lunches, milkshakes and ice-cream from their premises on New Union Street. Currently open Tuesday-Sunday, from 11am until 6pm, make the most of the good weather and treat yourself to one of their delicious offerings.
The Great Northern’s legendary sourdough bakery, Holy Grain Sourdough, are still serving up their delicious and unique loaves for collection and delivery during lockdown. They’re updating their Facebook page with delivery and collection days, and details on how to get in touch with them to place an order.
Located in the heart of Manchester’s most thriving neighbourhood, Ancoats bakery Companio remains open during various days throughout the week, offering their much-loved sourdough breads, savoury danish and cakes until their stock runs dry. New Islington’s Pollen Bakery, specialising in sourdough and viennoiserie, are currently offering a collection and delivery service with a limited menu of breads and pastries. The webshop is only open a couple of times a week when they’re able to take orders, so keep an eye on their social media to make sure you get your orders in at the right time.
