Dot to Dot Festival is back for 2020. The multi-venue all-day event celebrates its 15th anniversary this year over the late May Bank Holiday weekend – kicking off in Manchester on Friday 22 May. Noted for championing new and emerging music, the festival’s line up this year is no different as NME’s Best New British Act 2020 winners Easy Life take the headline spot. Still with more acts and surprises to be announced in the coming weeks, here’s our top 5 must-see acts this year…

Alexandra Savior

After her 2017 dreamy debut record Belladonna Of Sadness, the Portland artist is back with latest release, Archer – complete with her signature enchanting vocals and soothing sultry lyrics. This will be one of the first times to catch her new material on UK soil.

Matt Maltese

The South London singer returns to the festival this year having stunned audiences back in 2017. After his captivating debut Bad Contestant, with sophomore offering Krystal released in quick succession – Matt showcases his incredibly charismatic songwriting and crooning vocals through songs of love and loss.

Sad Boys Club

Bringing their emotive indie-pop vibe to the mix are Crouch End’s Sad Boys Club. With a sound reminiscent of The Cure, The War on Drugs and a dash of The 1975 – the lads are renowned for their electrifying live performances – not one to miss.

LIINES

Manchester’s very own alt-rock trio LIINES grace the line-up this year. With a solid reputation as one of the most exciting acts to come out of the city – they are prominent in the post-punk/new wave scene with their truly infectious sound.

Kofi Stone

Rising East London-born, Birmingham-raised rapper Kofi Stone is on the bill. With his impressive debut album 2019’s Nobody Cares Till Everybody Does featuring tracks with Maverick Sabre and Loyle Carner – Kofi’s laidback delivery mixed with crucial subject matter has got him widely noticed in the scene.
