As Manchester City head into the Christmas break, they do so with a near flawless record in the Barclays Women’s Super League, having won 10 of their 11 games so far this season.
Andrée Jeglertz’s side leads second-place rivals Chelsea by six points, with the two set to face in just a few weeks in what could well be a pivotal clash come the end of the season. Man City Women’s stellar form has also carried over into the League Cup, with a quarter-final matchup away at West Ham up next for the side on Sun 21 Dec and a chance for them to sign off for the Christmas break in style.
