After beating the host nation in the semis, our incredible Lionesses take on Spain this Sunday as the first English side to reach a World Cup Final since 1966.
Here are the spots around Manchester where you can book a table to watch them bring it home.
Kick-off is at 11am.
Billed as ‘the queerest sports bar on the planet’, Altrincham’s Libero banishes the baying jeans-and-sheux crowd and the smashed-pint jeers in favour of an achingly chic celebration of vintage football, redolent of Italian soft-spread shirt sponsors, billowing collars, the Adidas Copa Mundial, cosy continental haunts, Calcio on Channel 4 and everything else that made us fall in love with the beautiful game. As always, they’ll be serving a variety of delicious craft beers throughout their World Cup Final coverage on Sunday.
With a range of irresistible street food from vendors including Chaat Cart, Slap & Pickle, Manzoku and Noi Quattro – and a variety of craft beers from the renowned Vocation brewery – Society offers a World Cup Final experience to remember with walk-ins welcome and free table bookings via the link below.
Out in Red Bank, Manchester’s favourite independent street food venue airs the final on their CULTPLEX big screen, with single tickets available for just a fiver. While you watch the action in 4k, you can enjoy an extensive array of brunch and lunch snacks, available from half-time, with plenty of vegan options available.
Taking place in the Mezzanine Sports Bar, Freight Island’s free final screening invites guests to don their England shirts and daub their faces with the cross of St. George to watch the morning match of a lifetime.

Opening early for the game, the multi-award-winning Grade II-listed pub invites walk-ins to grab a seat in its glazed-brick main room and secret beer garden to watch the final with a choice of nine hand-pulls serving brewery-fresh cask beer and a selection of artisanal ciders. Afterwards, you can celebrate – or stuff your sorrows – with their famous Sunday Roast.
In celebration of the Lionesses’ historic accomplishment, Manchester’s beloved burger joint hosts its legendary bottomless brunch an hour early with the final on the big screen. For 90 minutes from 11am, diners can enjoy any Famous Burger, Winning or Bacon Bacon Fries, Chicken Wings and Mac and Cheese Balls washed down with unlimited beer, prosecco and cocktails.
Last bookings at 3pm.
Head to New Century early on Sunday to grab a seat for their free big screen showing of the final, or email hello@newcenturykitchen.com to ensure you don’t miss out. For those who want to celebrate during and after the match, New Century runs their irresistible bottomless brunch wherein guests can try food from any of their vendors with unlimited drinks – and cocktails for just an extra fiver.
