The world’s biggest professional gaming and VR jam returns to Manchester in June. Jamchester is a weekend-long marathon of virtual reality creation in which developers build the best games under the watchful eyes of judges. With pillows alongside their PCs, the competitors will work throughout the night for a clutch of awards including Best Gameplay, Best Student Game and Best Tech Achievement. The contest is run by local tech champions HAC100. Individual and student tickets are sold out, but you can still register as a team, and you’ll get free food and drink all weekend to keep your batteries charged.
