This Halloween weekend, creatives, crafters, foodies and innovators of Manchester come together outside the home of one of the area’s most celebrated artists. Based on the ornate piazza between Lowry Outlet and The Lowry gallery and theatre venue, Makers Market transforms the area into an emporium of activity. Highlights include pumpkin carving classes, the witches’ garden and decoration workshops for spooky biscuits, cupcakes, witch and wizard hats and paper plate ghosts, with live music from the Loose Change Buskers. Arty stalls of note include Salford’s The No 71 Legend Rooms, as well as Sarah Gregory, Three Colours and the photography whizz Ben Sedman.
