Quite the opposite to the upcoming macho film fest, Islington Mill shows its unsettling side with a screening of 1922 Scandinavian horror, Häxan. A free showing of the film banned in the USA, this will be shown on the first floor of the creative emporium as part of the aptly named First Floor Film Night. The 1968 version will be shown in which the silent film was given an eclectic jazz score by Daniel Humair and features dramatic narration by Naked Lunch author William S. Burroughs. For its documentary and dramatisation elements, Häxan is a must for all horror heads.
