One of the most trying and tiring tasks for a band on tour is loading in. Lugging their instruments across the country, up hill and down dale, and then into venue, which will always include some stairs even if they are to perform on the ground floor. Just to make things difficult. So spare a thought for Clouds Harp Quartet as they traverse with four of the largest (and most expensive) instruments to bring their wonderful sounds to your ears. It’s worth showing up just to applaud the sheer effort they took to get to Kro. You should also stay for the music they create for it is really quite heavenly. After releasing their first album, they are touring their show ‘Water’ a six-movement piece for 4 harps and voice by Esther Swift. A rare treat in an intimate venue.
