Hello Oriental set to open second location at the Trafford Centre

Hello Oriental, the popular multi-floor Asian food hall concept, is set to open a new location within the Trafford Centre.

The team’s original Circle Square venue opened back in February 2022, serving everything from pastries and coffee to Vietnamese noodle soups and Chinese roast meats.

Now, the brand has revealed that the Trafford Centre will become its first UK shopping centre location, opening a new space in the Upper Orient.

Owners and childhood best friends Ricky Yip and Azim Kourah have selected the most popular dishes from the extensive menu for the new restaurant, bringing over 100 delicious dishes across to the new venue for customers to choose from.

Diners will be able to enjoy traditional dishes from across East Asia including a range of Dim Sum, main dishes like Taiwanese pork belly with rice, and traditional favourites like beef Ho fun and Cantonese roast meats.

There will also be a wide selection of street food staples like Korean Fried Chicken, Loaded Katsu Chicken Fries and three varieties of sticky chicken wings.

A full kid’s menu features options like Prawn Won-Tons, Chicken Pho, Crispy Chicken Karaage, mild Salt and Pepper Chicken nuggets and Fries.

Co-Owner Ricky Yip said: “We’re so excited to open in the Trafford Centre and give shoppers the chance to try our dishes from across East Asia. Many of the dishes on the menu were enjoyed by Azim and I growing up, cooked by my family, or served in family restaurants. It’s wonderful to see other families come to Hello Oriental to enjoy these flavours.”

Hello Oriental is set to arrive at the Trafford Centre later this year.
