A surefire sellout after December’s raucous jive, Mouse Outfit’s live hip-hop homecoming is due for a repeat performance in June. Fronted by the mainstay vocal duo of Syntax and Sparkz, the nine-piece have been wowing Manchester audiences since before their 2013 debut LP, Escape Music, set critics purring with its who’s who of cherry-picked guest MCs from the area. Last year’s follow-up, Step Steadier, delivered their horn-heavy dose of live jazz, funk and soul far and wide, but this Band on the Wall show sees them back in the city where it all began.
