History for all: £5 Illustrated talks by History Inc. at Chorlton Library

An illustrated talk, hosted by Andrew Jones and Kevin Harrison of lecturing collective, History Inc, takes place this coming weekend at Chorlton Library. First up is a talk entitled Horatio Nelson – The Necessary Hero while part two explores ‘the history of the sea shanty’. Tickets are £5 and the event runs from 1pm to 3pm at the Chorlton Library.  To book call Andrew Jones on 0161 491 2874. History Inc is a group of locally based lecturers who give informative public talks and run short history courses which, again, you need no special skills or qualifications to sign up for. They’ve worked with The Portico, the Imperial War Museum North and many more.
