The Homeless Film Festival is a long-running project that tours the country screening films made by homeless people, or that tackle the issue of homelessness head-on. This December, Antwerp Mansion in Rusholme is holding a fundraiser for the Festival. The famously wild venue will host a night of boozing and partying, which will bring together a host of local talent, including bands and DJs. Performing will be Mancheska, a horn-fronted band known for their ‘Northentic’ Jamaican music, and Skinny Living, an indie band from Wakefield. There will also be exhibition displaying the work of up and coming local artists, including Rosemary Booth, the winner of this year’s MMU’s Graduate Award.

Wed 10 Dec, Antwerp Mansion, Rusholme Grove, Rusholme, Manchester, M14 5AG, 9pm – 3am, £2.50 – £4, www.skiddle.com
