Manchester-based Witch Kings Rum has announced it will host a Winter Bohemia Wonderland pop-up in Spinningfields throughout November.

Appearing at Affinity Living Riverview, located on the riverfront by Spinningfields, the pop-up will be open daily from 11am-8pm from Wed 10- Sun 28 Nov.

Serving up a hearty winter warmer menu of hot pots, craft rum cocktails and mocktails, local beers and ciders, there’ll also be an ongoing schedule of live music every Friday and Saturday.

Placing an emphasis on collaboration within the small business community, Witch Kings Rum will also have an exciting string of small business guests joining throughout its three-week run.

Hot pot delights include Boeuf bourguignon; a rich french winter dish of beef, bacon & red wine slow cooked with vegetables, Lamb Tagine; a fruity Moroccan slow cooked lamb hot pot with apricot & dates and warming spices, and a Vegan Hot Pot; butternut squash, spinach & root vegetables in a spiced tomato sauce with homemade pesto. All will be accompanied by dumplings and artisan bread from The Flat Baker.

A selection of daily cakes and brownies from local small businesses will also be on offer.

Each Monday, the temporary venue will be dedicated to shining a light on non-alcoholic tipples, known as Mocktail Monday, as the venue goes alcohol free.

Thursdays will be known as ‘Friendly Thursdays’, where friends of the Witch Kings family will arrive as guest vendors, with an exciting range of local food & drink options lined up, while Friday and Saturday nights will play host to an eclectic mix of live music, providing soulful, laid back, jazzy vibes.

Tables can be booked in advance, and are priced at £5 per person to secure the booking for at least 90 minutes, which includes a welcome drink. Entry is free for walk-ins but does not guarantee a table.
