Hot ticket: Hot Ones Wing Challenge at MOJO Manchester

As the weather begins to cool down across the city, the team over at MOJO cocktail and rum bar are preparing to bring the heat back in spice-tacular style with the Hot Ones Wing Challenge, a mouth-watering event that consists of ten fiery waves of flavoursome wing indulgence. Taking place on Tue Oct 15, this event draws inspiration from the cult hit YouTube show Hot Ones and sees MOJO team up with The Chilli-Shop to challenging you to beat the Hot Ones eating scores of celebrities like Terry Crews and Russell Brand. Following on from the sell-out wing challenge over at MOJO Leeds, Manchester’s event is expected to be no different and will offer up an evening of gluttonous hilarity, sweaty foreheads and scolded tongues. Those brave enough to face the heat of the Hot Ones Challenge must tackle their way through 10 coated chicken wings or vegan/gluten-free Cauliflower Wings, which in-turn get progressively hotter with a varied selection of hot sauces as-featured in the YouTube show. Sauces such as ‘Da Bomb’ and the feared ‘Last Dab’ will make an appearance, a hot sauce known for being 1320 times hotter than a jalapeño. Ouch.
