Olivier Award-nominated dancer and choreographer Hannes Langolf makes his Lowry debut this October with How About Now, a strikingly visceral exploration of trust, self-awareness and the delicate balance between connection and conflict.

Performed entirely in a sealed glass box, the production draws inspiration from Max Frisch’s classic play, The Arsonists, to inventively render a tense encounter between two men whose casual exchange gradually builds into a hostile collision of personalities, as their uneven rhythms disrupt the power dynamic and a game of dominance unfolds.

Hailed as ‘extraordinary’ and ‘a show that touches the deepest chords of the human soul’ (Paneacquaculture), How About Now offers a raw yet poetic physical spectacle which features an original script by Andrew Muir, a haunting sound score composed by Jethro Cooke, innovative set and costume design by Loren Elstein and evocative lighting by Joe Hornsby.
