The ghost of Hunter S Thompson takes over the Dancehouse one week after the anniversary of his death. A double feature of adaptations of his gonzo style will be screened while characters from his writing roam the building. It has not been confirmed that mescaline and ether will be readily available. The first of a new monthly cult film night presented by Regal Cinema, this double-bill kick offs with Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, featuring Johnny Depp’s incarnation of Thompson, and continues with Where The Buffalo Roam, starring Bill Murray (pictured) as the chaotic journalist and author. This promises to be a double dose of decadence and depravity at the Dancehouse – it’s just what Hunter would have wanted. Bring a fiend.
