Up for an adventure? We hope so, because it’s time for another instalment of Hush Hush, The Lowry’s critically acclaimed, top secret theatre show. There are only two ‘Hush Hush’ events at The Lowry per season. At each one, theatregoers are given no clear hints about what to expect until they arrive. There are, however, two intriguing guarantees:

1. The show has never been seen before in Greater Manchester.
2. The show has received great reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe, in London – or both.

Past events have showcased Rob Kemp’s musical comedy stage show The Elvis Dead, headphone drama Fiction by David Rosenberg and Glen Neath and an appearance from surreal, meat-themed double act The Delightful Sausage. This time around, no one except Lowry programmer, Matthew Eames, knows what the show will be. What we do know is that all tickets are £5 and audience members to arrive 30 minutes before the performance for a briefing and allocated seating. Apparently, there will be some elements of interaction but guests will NOT be asked to act.

Fri 21 Sep, The Lowry, Pier 8, The Quays, Salford, M50 3AZ, Tel: 0843 208 6000, 8pm, £5, www.thelowry.com
