Hyatt Manchester has unveiled a range of health and fitness-focused initiatives for both guests and non-guests to enjoy this January.
From a new menu of health-conscious dining options to dedicated fitness facilities and sessions, the Hyatt team has plenty to cater for those keen to enhance their wellbeing in the new year.
For cycling fanatics and avid runners, Hyatt Manchester is surrounded by several green spaces including the historic 18-acre Whitworth Park, Brunswick Park and All Saints Park. The recently developed Oxford Road cycle route also boasts Dutch-style cycling lanes ideal for exploring the city on two wheels.
Cyclists can also venture outside of the city centre, exploring suburbs like Chorlton, Fallowfield and Levenshulme on the Fallowfield loop, considered the longest urban cycleway in Britain
For fitness enthusiasts looking to connect with others during their stay Hyatt offers a regular run club open to locals and guests alike, while an onsite fitness studio, yoga classes and Peloton bikes are available to book at the hotel’s fitness centre, allowing guests to earn 100 Bonus Points per ride or row and up to 1,000 points per month
On Sat 18 Jan, Hyatt will be hosting its always-popular monthly yoga brunch. Taking over the hotel’s 18th floor and offering stunning views across the city, the session features a revitalising 1-hour yoga class followed by a 30-minute deep relaxation and a healthy and fresh continental lunch.
At The Laureate Restaurant and Graduate Bar, the all-new ‘Fresh Start’ menu features an array of delicious plant-focused options and is ideal for those who plan to try Veganuary or opt for alcohol-free tipples.
In the new year, Hyatt will also launch a series of seven new premium beverages, blending Jing Tea’s finest with natural mixers and garnishes, with double World of Hyatt points awarded for each featured drink or dish purchase.
Options include the Matcha J&T which blends smooth match with coconut milk, rimmed with matcha dust, the Blackcurrant J&T with fruity hibiscus tea, elderflower tonic and juniper berries, and the Vanilla J&T which features creamy vanilla tea with oat milk and a dusting of nutmeg.
