Manchester’s iconic Night & Day has been shortlisted for Music Week magazine’s ‘Grassroots Venue: Spirit of the Scene’ award.
Supported by Music Venue Trust, the publicly-decided accolade recognised the importance of grassroots venues to their cities.
The famed Oldham Street venue, which is currently battling a noise abatement notice, joins other Northern venues like Brudenell Social Club in Leeds, Sheffield’s Leadmill and The Globe in Newcastle.
The winner will be announced at the Music Week Awards ceremony in May. Voting is now open until the end of March at the Music Week Awards website here
