In The Dark Radio at The Castle Hotel

Forget the washing up and turn your radio listening into more of an experience this week as the innovative In The Dark returns to celebrate the start of the new year with the befitting theme Out With The Old. A collaborative project between radio producers and radio enthusiasts, In The Dark works to revolutionise the way we listen to radio, transforming it from its normal confines into a cinematic social event. Played out in the darkened back room of The Castle, this edition’s theme lends itself to such topics as the first man to undergo sexual realignment surgery, recycled tapes, Tupperware parties, old maps and more, with all documentaries ranging from one minute to fourteen minutes long. Featuring audio from all around the world, join up with fellow radio enthusiasts and immerse your ears in ‘a night of stories told through sound’.
