All about supporting small businesses and championing originality, The Refuge is hosting a Christmas Fair showcasing the work of various brilliant local sellers and vendors across Manchester.

Expect a wide range of indie brands promoting collaboration over competition featuring the likes of Holliegraphik, a Manchester-based Etsy best-seller creating some funky music-inspired prints perfect for Christmas gifts, alongside Mariel Osborn who specialises in handcrafted and unique homeware.

Joining them will be the fantastic Manchester Fashion Movement (MFM) pop-up hosting a Den takeover, showing buyers how to shop ethically and sustainably through creative workshops geared towards highlighting an emphasis on supporting the work of bespoke brands.

Manchester Union Lager, the city’s beloved craft lager brewery, will be selling a great selection of Christmas gifts perfect for any brew-heads in your life. From gift boxes, branded glasses, enamel badges and much more merch–you’ll definitely find something here. They’ll will, of course, also be serving their award-winning lagers alongside some freshly-baked Bavarian pretzels.

To top it all off, Grandad’s Sausages will be selling their scran throughout the fair, serving up favourites like the BBQ banger,

The Ancoats Community Choir will be singing their hearts out from 6.30pm to bring the festivities to a close in their typical merry style.

If you’re looking for a place to pick up a few Christmas presents, grab a delicious bite, sip on some great beer all whilst supporting small businesses—this is definitely the place for you this Sunday.
