Indie street food, performance and cinema: Red Bank to host first Festive Trail

The last few years have seen the Red Bank area of Manchester transformed into a fantastic indie showcase of great food, drink and eclectic activities.

With the likes of GRUB, Sparrows and Beatnikz all within a matter of yards away from each other, the stretch is an ideal spot for those looking to get away from the chaos of town, while still grabbing some of the best scran and booze the city has to offer.

Now, with the Christmas period firmly upon us, nine independent venues that call Red Bank home have teamed up to put on a festive trail which spans everything from brewery tours, live music, dance performances, street food, cinema screenings, fresh produce stalls and a record fair.

Participating in the celebrations, which will take place on Sat 4th Dec, are: GRUB, The Sparrows, Blackjack Brewery, Beatnikz Republic, Popup Bikes, Base Bar, Runaway Brewery, Chapeltown Picture House and GFFdamian Dance Studio.

Each venue will be on-hand to add their own special touch to the admirable joint effort, making for the perfect wintery day out with friends or family.
