ION Festival’s debut in Albania is going ahead after a two-year delay.
London promoters LWE’s new festival ION was meant to debut in 2020 and is finally going ahead between 7-14 Sep. Located on a beach in Dhërmi, Albania, the event looks to be one of the highlights of underground house and techno festival circuit when it launches.
The week-long festival will be spread across five indoor and outdoor stages, hosted by promoters such as Eat Your Own Ears, Half Baked and Junction 2. Amongst the big names playing are Jeff Mills, Nina Kraviz, Chaos in the CBD and Hessle Audio Trio.
NTS resident, SNO will be representing Manchester and global underground clubnight, Banana Hill on the mainstage and in the Cove.
Accommodation is provided by the festival for the 3000 revellers in the form of a range of 2, 3, 4 and 5* hotels.
