A super seasonal supper club is happening, and it’s brought to you by Isca. This new project is the brainchild of Isobel Jenkins (Season’s Eatings supper club, the Creameries) and Caroline Dubios (sommelier at Where The Light Gets In) and is an ode to seasonal, British produce and naturally-inclined wines and this supper club is one of their first public outings. Guests will experience a seasonal four course meal, matched with wine chosen by Caroline. Northern Monk Refectory will also be on hand for craft beer pairings. Expect fine, British ingredients, prepared in such a way as to allow the components to shine; Hebridean mutton with honey, summer herbs for example, or plump apricots with brown butter for dessert. Much of the featured produce comes from the same farm that produces the grain used in Northern Monk’s beers, so there’s a nice thread of connection there too. While this is one of the Isca’s first outings we expect more from this twosome later in the year. Watch this space for what they get up to next…
