A vibrant one-woman show which artfully blends 3D sound-design, breathtaking visuals and storytelling through speech and physicality, Dorcas Sebuyange’s Vice Versa runs for one unmissable weekend at HOME as part of International Women’s Day 2022.

Set in a totalitarian and emotionally-flattened dystopia, Vice Versa explores one young woman’s Damascene transformation from subjugated civilian into a renegade voice of liberation, combining performance art with traditional theatre.

An established multi-disciplinary artist, Sebuyange’s recent theatre credits include Big Up, Black Men Walking and I told my mum I was going on an R.E. trip, while as a musician she has supported lineups including Akala, Lady Leshurr and others. Her latest performance draws inspiration from the tracks on her namesake 2018 album.
