Jodrell Bank has unveiled a packed lineup of space-inspired activities for the entire family to enjoy this February half term.

Highlights from the holiday programme include a jaw-dropping new daily show celebrating the upcoming Artemis launch, and a brand-new site trail that invites explorers to gather interstellar discoveries across the Cheshire countryside.

Jodrell’s latest immersive Space Dome Show, One Step Beyond: A Journey to Mars, will also be shown throughout half term. Narrated by Richard Armitage, the show offers the chance to experience the thrill of a launch, the challenges of life in space, cutting-edge NASA technology, and the search for life that could transform how we see our planet.

Ted’s Space Adventure, recommended for ages 2-5, introduces little ones to the Solar System through a Space Dome Show packed with music, rhymes and interactive fun, while Space Craft stations will be ready and waiting to spark hands-on creativity.

Jodrell’s experts will be holding daily Telescope Talks, delving into the mysteries of the Lovell and bringing science to life with explosive live demonstrations, while bite-sized Discover the Dish sessions will offer a simple introduction and opportunity to get up close and personal with the iconic structure.
