Music news: John Simm DJ slot at Electrik’s One Deck Social

Star of Life on Mars, Human Traffic and The Lakes John Simm is to take on Electrik’s single deck for a night of his favourite vinyl alongside Magic Alex bandmate Dean Taylor. Alongside his acting chops John is also a music lover and was a founding member, songwriter, and guitarist with the rock band Magic Alex who played support on two British tours with Echo & the Bunnymen. We’re sure the man who played Bernard Sumner in 24 Hour Party People will have more than enough in his crate to keep the good folk of Chorlton nodding along all night long.
