In its latest string of one-off tasting menu evenings, Kala has announced plans to step back in time and revisit some of the team’s favourite dishes.
The menu is inspired by some of the most popular items to have been featured on Elite Bistros menus — the group behind Kala — over the past 12 years, when the team opened its first restaurant Sticky Walnut.
Chef and group owner Gary Usher will be joining Kala head chef Jack to reimagine Sticky Walnut’s classic dishes, with a special Kala twist, on Thu 17 Aug.
The menu, which you can find below, kicks off with Baron Bigod and Truffle Croquette, and a Smoked Beetroot Tart.
For the fish and main courses, guests can tuck into Crab and Scallop Ravioli and Roast Venison Loin. To finish, there’s a Raspberry Frangipane Tart and Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt Fudge.
The Recipes Revisited tasting menu is available at £65pp, with an optional paired wine flight for £27.50pp. Bookings are open now, you can make yours using the button below.
