Kampus has announced the opening of its Summer Garden series, featuring a whole bunch of fab food and drink pop-ups. First on the guest list is a renowned Levenshulme-based brand: natural wine specialists Isca Wines.
In perhaps one of the coolest city locations to date, Isca Wines will be serving up a carefully curated mix of ‘old world’ natural wines, specially selected from producers across Europe. If the tipple really tickles your fancy, you can pick up a bottle to take home too.
The event will be held at Kampus Gardens, which are permanently open to the public as part of the new development. Alongside Isca, guests can enjoy a wide selection of independent beers, house softs and some organic cheeses – the perfect pairing. Even better: your soundtrack for the night will be provided by DJ Ailsa, who’ll be playing summery sounds and funky tunes.
Isca Wines was founded by local sommelier Caroline Dubois and chef Isobel Jenkins – who met while working together at a restaurant in Stockport. Since then, the pair have pioneered their love for natural wines in Manchester, and have seen great success with their store in Levenshulme.
Open to walk-ins only, glasses of wine start from just a fiver and can be enjoyed in the lush surroundings of the Kampus Garden, or in the Kampus Bungalow – a cosy converted space with an ideal overview of the canal. The first session kicks off on Friday 11 June at 5pm, and will run for two weekends only.
