Expect thrills, spills and belly laughs from The Lowry regulars Kill The Beast as the award-winning comedy theatre troupe return with their fourth spine-tingling show, Director’s Cut. Ticking the box for Stranger Things fans and The League Of Gentlemen aficionados, think retro horror plot with jokes; edge-of-your-seat storytelling with a laughter track. Combining live action, film clips and original music, Director’s Cut – about shooting the final scene of the worst movie ever created for the big screen – will make its debut here before heading up to this year’s Edinburgh Fringe. Described as ‘masters of comedy horror’ and ‘incredibly, unbelievably funny’, you can expect Kill The Beast to take you on a daft adventure around their ghost-ridden B-movie set plucked straight out of the seventies, in their latest production inspired by haunted houses Hollywood style and found footage à la Cloverfield and Blair Witch.
