With the clocks having now gone back and the dark nights swiftly drawing in, it can’t be too long until the warm coats, scarves and gloves start making an appearance. For those who don’t have that luxury, this year the Knit and Natter group are at hand. Beginning on Friday 1 November, Nexus are hosting a knitting group with a difference, with all hats, scarves and gloves made during the sessions going to the homeless. Whether you’re a knitting pro or simply have an hour to kill during your lunch break, this is a great opportunity to put your needles together, try a new craft project and help keep the homeless warm this winter.
