Labour of love ft. Gerd Janson + Krystal Klear at Soup Kitchen

Gerd Janson (pictured) is one of the two founding pillars, along with Thornsten Scheu, of the German label Running Back. The two have put out releases for such artists as Theo Parish and Todd Terje, among many others. But Janson is no record exec in a suit; he is a prolific DJ in his own right and a regular on the European circuit. He is sought after by clubs across the world to deliver what has been described as ‘simmering’ electronic music. This February the monolithic DJ is gracing our shores, and more specifically Soup’s basement, for a night of house, disco and techno. Appearing beside Janson is Manchester-based DJ Krystal Klear who has been making waves with the release of One Night Only, with the track appearing on BBC Radio 1Xtra playlist.
