Fashion and textile designer Laurie Maun presents her new collection of embroideries at North Tea Power this month. The latest in a series curated by artist Aliyah Hussain, the exhibition works with the way people interact with art in a café environment as opposed to a more traditional gallery, allowing artists to display their work in a more intimate and casual environment. In this collection, MMU graduate Laurie turns her focus to surface decoration, using colour and texture to create unique and delicate embroideries to suit the simple white walls of North Tea Power.

Exhibition begins Thu 20 Feb, North Tea Power, Tib Street, M4 1LA, 6pm, FREE, facebook.com
