Lazy Lizard’s 2018 programme is going strong with sell-out events on the cards for the Printworks based Ibizan themed bar. This week we have two legends of the scene coming to Manchester for one night only as Paul Taylor’s We Call It Retro brings Allister Whitehead to the decks and DISCOPOLIS launches their first night promising to be a decadent shindig for all, with music from Carl Hanaghan and Tom Da Lip.
Thu 15 Mar: Future Thursdays
Feeling the mid-month pinch, but still want to party? Future Thursdays has the answer, providing a great night for next-to-nothing. Resident DJs Steeve Valverde (Es Paradis) and Disco Kid (Sankey’s Ibiza) will keep the tunes coming, while drinks are a steal with deals on all night (including bottles of beer for £2.50 and prosecco for £15).

Fri 16 Mar: Six15 Presents DISCOPOLIS ft. Carl Hanaghan
Debuting this week, DISCOPOLIS launch their monthly Lazy Lizard club night. An evening that promises good tunes and some spectacle, with performances alongside the main DJs. DISCOPOLIS label boss and former Hed Kandi resident Carl Hanaghan headlines, and Tom Da Lip will get us moving with both a DJ and a saxophone set. Expect disco, deep and soulful house in the mix. Support comes from DJs Veeto and Mojo.

Sat 17 Mar: We Call it Retro – classic house with Allister Whitehead
DJ Paul Taylor brings back his night of classic House to Lazy Lizard, and this time Allister Whitehead is coming along for the ride. A name that needs little introduction, Whitehead is a true legend of the 1990s acid house scene, a DJ with an illustrious 20 year career under his belt, performing worldwide, and remixing for some of the biggest names in pop (including Robbie Williams). With a focus on forgotten gems of the 80s and 90s, We Call It Retro will be a night of long-lost hits curated by two DJs who really know what it takes to make one. With an extended licence until 4.30am, expect to be dancing until the sun (nearly) comes up.
