School is out until Tuesday, so we’ve an extra-long weekend of partying ahead. Printworks bar and club Lazy Lizard have lined up four nights to tempt you out on the town over the bank-holiday weekend. Howard Donald of Take That fame performs a one-off house music set, and Leeds party starters Hectic hold down the fort on Saturday. Hedkandi’s Sunday special sees the weekend out in style.

Thu 29 March: Future Thursdays
Lazy Lizard’s Thursday night freebie gets the long weekend off on the right note, and it won’t make a dent in the pay day bank balance either. With free entry, deals on drinks running all night long, and resident DJs throwing out big tunes to get you up and on your feet – start as you mean to go on with Lazy Lizard’s midweek Ibizan feel-good night.
Free entry

Fri 30 March: Howard Donald DJ set
Howard Donald – best known as one-fifth of Take That – will take to Lazy Lizard’s stage to show off his DJ-ing skills to his hometown of Manchester. Alongside songwriting, producing and appearing as a judge on the German reality TV show Got To Dance, Donald has an established career as a DJ, starting out behind the decks in the nineties and going on to earn a Radio 1 slot. Donald has earned his stripes at the tables, not as a novelty, but as a great night out.

Sat 31 March: Hektik with Ill Phil and Phil White
Originating in Leeds, the Hektic brand have been running nights across the UK and in Ibiza since 2010. After a public vote, Manchester was chosen as the spot for their next party, and Lazy Lizard, the perfect venue. Residents ILL Phil and Phil White guide the night of big beats and floor-filling tracks, whilst DJ Jordz and Alex Davies make guest appearances for the Hektik name. We would recommend booking ahead.

Known for hosting some of the most glamorous parties on home turf and foreign soil, Sunday is sure to be a lavish, no-olds-barred night. It’s ladies night, so be sure to bag their drinks deals on the night.
