On Sun 18 May, Canadian comedy legend Russell Peters takes over O2 Apollo Manchester with an unmissable night of hilarious riffs and razor-sharp observations as part of a three-leg UK run of his world tour, Relax.

Recently named one of Rolling Stone’s 50 Best Comics of All Time, Peters continues to evolve and expand his globally adored brand of humour while reaching new heights of success in his unrivalled career. Since started stand-up aged just 19, the Toronto native has garnered worldwide acclaim and reached staggering heights of popularity, becoming the first comedian to sell-out the Air Canada Centre and setting attendance records for an individual comedy show at Sydney Opera House, Madison Square Garden and London’s O2 Arena.

Alongside successful televised specials on Showtime and Comedy Central, Peters was the first ever comedian to create a Netflix Original Comedy Special, while his Deported World Tour was seen by over 400,000 fans around the world and enjoyed by millions on Amazon Prime upon its release in January 2020.

Peters has also been awarded Gemini, Peabody, Emmy and Canadian Screen Awards for his hosting, producing and beloved brand of acting. His last TV show, The Indian Detective, set a Canadian viewership record for Bell Media/CTV in 2017 and reinforced his stand-alone stardom with a blockbuster Netflix release.
