Treading a fine line of false advertising – not to mention a potential lawsuits for trademark infringement – Lego takes up residence in Chorlton’s The Gallery (opposite Chorlton Metrolink) this Friday night. Lego in this sense is not the small brick subculture that dominated Christmases for many children but an invitation to ‘let go’ and find fun and nostalgia in the music. Expect everything from hip-hop, funk, house, New York disco, electrofunk, re-edits, future soul and some forgotten 90s classics. Now can someone start a rival night that incorporates building bricks please?

Fri 25 Jan, The Gallery, 537-539 Wilbraham Road, Chorlton, M21 0UE, 9pm, FREE, http://www.facebook.com/events/542621012422456/
