Liam Fray has announced details of a one-off hometown show in the run up to Christmas.

The Courteeners frontman will play a special acoustic gig at the Albert Hall on Sun 17 Dec.

Liam’s last show in the city was a sold out headline gig at Heaton Park where 50,000 fans came together to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Courteeners’ debut album St. Jude, which went to No 1 on the UK Album Chart when reissued in January this year (making them only the third band to hit No 1 with a reissue after The Beatles and The Rolling Stones).
