It’s been twelve years since local lad Liam Frost saw his debut album ‘Show Me How The Spectres Dance’ find fans with a distinctive indie-folk charm and sincere, energetic songwriting, earning critical acclaim in the process. Fast-forward to 2018, and the Mancunian singer-songwriter is preparing to unveil his new album ‘The Latchkey Kid’ with a special show at Deaf Institute on 25 Aug to debut the new material. Set for release on his own label, Emperor Records, this will be only his third LP and his first album since 2009’s ‘We Ain’t Got No Money, Honey, But We Got Rain’. Described by Elbow’s Guy Garvey as “the UK’s answer to Bright Eyes”, anticipation is high for his latest appearance and demand for his 2016 performance here saw an extra matinee show added to accommodate fans, so grab a ticket while you can.
