Award-winning author Kirsty Gunn (pictured) and poet and literary critic Tiffany Atkinson will be discussing and reading their work at the University’s Martin Harris Centre this week. With seven books to her name, including poetry and short stories, Gunn is an acclaimed writer, winning the 2007 Sundial Scottish Book of the Year for her novel, The Boy and the Sea. With Infidelity, a new collection of short stories, out in November, she’ll be showcasing highlights from old and new material. Atkinson resides in Aberystwyth, lecturing in English and Creative Writing at the university. A drink and discounts at Blackwells Bookshop are included in the price.
