New Order have announced plans for a massive homecoming show due to take place at Heaton Park next September. The news marks the first time this iconic Manchester band has visited the city in four years, and joining them for this sure-to-be-memorable return to the stage will be electro-pop pioneers and certified dance floor fillers Hot Chip, and Yorkshire’s hottest new quartet Working Men’s Club.

Inspiring a generation with hits like True Faith, Ceremony and of course, Blue Monday, New Order’s synthpop, alternative sounds can be heard mirrored within the output of both of their chosen support acts. Following the release of their critically acclaimed 2015 album Music Complete, the band’s return to the heart of the North aims to further strengthen their deep-rooted connection with the city and its people.

To celebrate their return to Manchester, the band will appear on Tim Burgess’s Tim’s Twitter Listening Party on Tuesday 15 December at 8pm to discuss their latest release. Use the hashtag #TimsTwitterListeningParty to get involved and share your memories of this iconic band. Tickets for New Order’s Heaton Park show on Friday 10 September 2021 go on general sale at 9am on Thursday 10 December, with a special pre-sale taking place from 9am on Tuesday 8 December.
