In an age where lives are constantly shaped and affected by digital media and modern technology, the concepts of identity, creativity and entrepreneurialism are perhaps more profound now than they ever have been. Liverpool x is a 24-hour event exploring these themes through a programme of exhibitions, performances, debates and masterclasses from key individuals within the reinvention of the city’s identity, all of whom are seeking to celebrate Liverpool’s maturity and self-confidence in today’s society. Expect stirring talks from political thinker Phillip Blond, author and journalist Stephen Bayley, architect Will Alsop and global editor of Vice magazine Andy Capper, as well as music from a range of acts including Liverpool natives Nadine Carina (pictured) and Kalax, Eliphino, Bantam Lions and Silent Sleep.
