Salford’s iconic Lowry stage will be transformed into the fiery dancefloors of Spain this June as it hosts a summer Flamenco Festival.
Featuring two very different shows, each entirely authentic in their own unique styles, the festival will showcase the breadth and diversity of the beloved traditional art form.
First, with performances on Sat 13 Jun and Sun 14 Jun, acclaimed dancer and choreographer Olga Pericet presents Baile Sonoro, her new flamenco dance production blending tradition and innovation.
Baile Sonoro combines the strength and subtlety of Olga’s incredible movement with live guitar and singing to create a mesmerising, intimate and intense dance-concert experience.

Then, on Tue 30 Jun, Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía’s Tierra Bendita: Blessed Land journeys through the most striking corner of Andalusia, the birthplace of flamenco. Through a vibrant selection of iconic music and dances, this stunning show celebrates the passion, history and beauty of this powerful art form.
Under the direction of Patricia Guerrero, winner of the National Dance Award of Spain 2021, Tierra Bendita merges 18th-century stage elements with contemporary ones in a striking balance of tradition and modernity.
Anyone who books both Baile Sonoro and Tierra Bendita can get 20% off the total price. For more information and to book tickets, click the button below.
