The Manchester Mid-Day Concerts Society returns to the Bridgewater Hall with their new Spring 2022 season, continuing an illustrious history of hosting some of the city’s most groundbreaking live classical events.

Following the traditional yet ‘adventurous’ season opener from talented Chetham’s students last month, Pierre Fournier Award-winner Rainer Crosett, accompanied by Simon Parkin, the Series’ Director of Concerts, offered a stunning May bank holiday performance.

Next up, is the Jacquin Trio, a daring classical chamber ensemble featuring piano, violin/viola and clarinet musicians, makes its highly-anticipated Mid-day Concert debut on Tue 17 May. Their programme, Fragments and Poems, complements the rare technical freedom of a violin/viola trio in a single concert, as they breeze masterfully through an expansive repertoire that includes Schumann, Bruch, Stravinsky and others.

All concerts start at 1.10pm. Tickets are on sale now and priced at £10, £8.50 for concessions and £5 for students—grab yours using the button below.
