Book now: Post-punks Lungs at Band on the Wall

North West melodic post-punks Lungs have announced a return to Band on the Wall following December’s riotous Free Vibes gig. With their Birdsong Index EP still hot property since its Xmas Eve launch, and comparisons of Editors, Echo and The Bunnymen abound, the quintet are proving the sum of their parts rather than just a side-project for ex-Courteeners’ bassist Mark Cuppello. Presented by local indie label Scruff of the Neck, the show marks a chance to catch the band of their unrelenting ascent into the wider music industry eye, which earlier this year earned them BBC Radio 6 Music play on Tom Ravenscroft’s Recommends selection.
