Following  a successful crowd-funding campaign, local record label and promotions company Sub-Woofah team up with Bee Creative to run two days of music workshops in the Northern Quarter at Mad Lab aimed at people 15 and over interested in the music industry. The workshops cover DJing (with both CDJs and vinyl turntables set up), lyric writing with optional performance and recording, music production (Macs running the programs Ableton and Logic plus some hardware), and employability – marketing yourself, writing CVs and advice on getting paid jobs in the industry. You can tailor the day to suit you, and you’ll be in the capable hands of professional tutors Luke Leadbelly, El Statiko and DJ Euphonique catering for beginners and those looking at a more advanced level alike.
