Magical festive light show ‘Glow’ returns to RHS Garden Bridgewater

Running from Wed 15 Nov to Sat 30 Dec, RHS Garden Bridgewater’s enchanting annual festive light show Glow transforms Worsley’s idyllic botanical jewel into a magical illuminated garden with glimmering evening trails, breathtaking interactive sculptures, spellbinding projections and more, with tickets selling already selling fast.

Created by lighting specialists SLX, Glow comprises a series of twinkling pathways winding gently through RHS Garden Bridgewater’s stunning natural landscape, passing by some of the garden’s best-loved features on a wondrous winter’s stroll.

Freshly unveiled for 2023, Glow also includes two captivating new commissions which will be on display throughout the schedule. International production studio Kaleider present a ‘playful’ installation of giant light sculptures, made from interconnected triangular prisms, which visitors can bend and mould into their own glittering work of art, while Venture Arts’ Malik Jama showcases an interactive projection-mapping piece created from digitally manipulated photographs and film.

Each night of Glow, Jago Juggling Arts will also be on hand once again with their wildly popular halo light show.

Open throughout every session, the Bridgewater Cafe, Stables Cafe and Shepherds Hut each serve a hearty variety of warming drinks and indulgent festive treats, while the RHS Bridgewater Garden Centre offers an irresistible trove of Christmas decorations, gifts and stocking fillers alongside an extensive array of wreaths, houseplants and UK-grown trees.

All tickets must be booked in advance, and visitors are advised to book early to secure their preferred date and time. RHS Members can enjoy a discount of up to 40% off tickets.
