MaK presents Word of Mouth at Chorlton Central Church

Local charity Manchester Air to Kosovo (MaK) will host Word of Mouth, a free 12-hour event in Chorlton on Saturday 10 November. Set up in 1999 and with a series of fundraising events and a compilation featuring Doves, Badly Drawn Boy and Mr Scruff under its belt, MaK hopes this marathon event will further help spread the word about its projects – with two of the charity’s leaders visiting from Kosovo to speak at Chorlton Central Church. It will also feature live music and DJs, plus food stalls, talks and films. The charity is appealing for volunteers to help run the event, plus donations of cakes, children’s books, DVDs, CDs and games, and laptops to help supplement the 12 school IT suites MaK has built in Kosovo.
