The best weeks almost always include a tasty beer at some point and with Manchester Beer Week you get a full week of the good stuff, plus this particular ‘week’ actually lasts for ten days. This is the biggest Mcr Beer Week yet in celebration of all good brewed things through the end of June and beginning of July. One big highlight is the Summer Beer Thing in Sadler’s Yard (Fri 29 – Sun 1 Jul) which comes from the same people that bring you the goods at Indy Man Beer Con every October just with added sun (hopefully). There will also be brewery tours, a Women’s Institute pub crawl, tap takeovers at Beermoth, Crown & Kettle, and all three Font Bars plus heaps of hidden beery treats throughout the extended week. Have a look at the full list at the link below and get planning your trips. They have also just launched the official beer of Mcr Beer Week, a limited edition Summer Pale Ale made with JW Lees and Leeds’ Northern Monk, which will be available from more than 60 Co-op stores across Greater Manchester.
