Manchester Camerata present Mozart at his sublime best at The Stoller Hall

Returning to The Stoller Hall on Sat 25 Mar, Manchester Camerata present another edition of their immensely successful Mozart: Made in Manchester series featuring a selection of the composer’s greatest works.

Described as ‘energetic Mozart up there with the very best’ in BBC Sounds Magazine‘s 5-star review, Manchester Camerata’s performance magnificently renders three of his earlier piano concertos, anchored by the ‘undeniable chemistry’ of Gábor Takács-Nagy and Jean-Efflam Bavouzet.

Alongside Piano Concerto No.11 in F major, Piano Concerto No.12 in A major and Piano Concerto No.13 in C major, the Camerata tackles the mesmeric overture from The Abduction from the Seraglio, Mozart’s alla Turca-infused piece from the comic opera featuring pirates, Turkish princes, kidnappings and daring rescues.
